ART SPOT is located on the Fox River in downtown Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Our studios are inside of City Center (former Park Plaza Shopping Center) at 2 Jackson Street. We are next door to Becket's Restaurant. Enter through the glass doors marked with the ART SPOT logo and watch for our banner
Classes are designed for the inexperienced painter. This is about having FUN! No prior experience is required.
Classes are for novice painters and experienced painters! Your knowledge and skills can be inspirational to others in the class. Use your touch to alter the class design. We encourage Creativity!
The class sizes vary between 12 to 40 people. We have a maximum number of guests allowed in each class. If we are sold out for that event we will put you on a waiting list in case there should be cancellations or you may choose a different paint night. Private events must have 12 guests.
Classes are scheduled at various times throughout the week. Review our calendar to see the different times for the classes.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to check in, find your seat and order a beverage.
Our regular classes are 2.5 - 3 hours approximately. The calendar indicates what the class duration is.
Canvas size varies by painting. Private or corporate events may have different canvas configurations based upon the customization of the party.
Please refer to our calendar for pricing specifics. Event pricing varies by the duration of the party or type of event.
Reservations should be made from a PC or a laptop. Open the calendar. Double click on the class you want. Add it to your cart. Provide all of the information in the "set attendee" section of the cart. Save information, update order & checkout. Accept terms and check out. An order number is provided when reservation is completed.
Many adult paintings are too difficult for children under the age of 14. We ask parents accompany and assist children under the age of 14.
You will be working with acrylic paint which can stain certain fabrics. We do supply aprons, but we suggest that you wear clothes that you consider stainable. Accidents can happen. Glass classes do have special dress requirements. Those specifics are noted in the calendar's class notes.
Outside beverages and food are not allowed during public events. Our affiliate restaurant will have wait staff to take your drink and appetizer orders as you require. It is illegal in the state of Wisconsin to BYOB into a commercial business. We ask that everyone comply with the law.
We are always looking for people to join our team.
Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the start of class. If cancellations are made according to these guidelines a 100% refund will be made. Cancellations may be done on our web site or by emailing or calling us. We reserve the right to cancel classes at any time. Bad weather, instructor illness or lack of adequate guest registration may results in cancellations. If we should be forced to cancle a class we will provide every guest with a full refund.
